Obesity is a serious medical condition that we
are suffering from. . It occurs when a child is well above the normal weight for his or her
age and height. A healthy sense of self-esteem and a good self-image can go a
long way toward helping students overcome peer pressure, academic stress and
other factors that contribute to depression or inhibit social development. Childhood
obesity leads to poor self-esteem and depression, so we should be aware of the consequences
of this problem and help our students who are overweight to regain their
confidence and to rebuild a new image of their future..

Yes Shakiba your right, but you mention just one part of the problem. the second part should the teachers and schools be aware of the causes of these diseases. The parents should give a full report for the school about any children condition, in this way they can help him if any thing happen.
ReplyDeleteAn obesity epidemic is a scary thing – just look at figures released today, which reveal that more than half of us are overweight or obese. But what's also frightening is the possibility of raising a generation of children so fixated on weight.there should be cooperation between parents and school to support children with help and awareness of this serious issue, Encouraging exercise and moderation in eating is absolutely what we should be doing, but robbing someone of the simple pleasure of looking in the mirror and seeing a person, as opposed to a number, will never be a quick fix to a complex problem
